
Teleconferencing Services
All of our Teleconferencing technology is state of the art. The equipment is installed in one of Sydney’s best telecommunications collocation facilities, providing security and continuity of service. The environment that houses our technology is exceptionally secure.
Our Automated Teleconferencing service is the class of the industry. Sound quality and reliability are second to none. Your dedicated dial in numbers and passcodes are in effect 7/24 allowing you to conduct a secure Teleconference whenever you wish without the need to book the call in advance. Our professional Conference Operators are at hand to offer any assistance you may require. For your convenience, each Moderator is provided with a hard plastic Wallet card containing all of their particular conferencing details.
Our Teleconferencing service is bundled with our Web Conferencing service. Use our Teleconferencing service more often than the Web Conferencing service and the Web Conferencing is free. Use the Web Conferencing service more often than the Teleconferencing service and the Teleconferencing is free.
Reserved or Reservationless conferences
Reserved Teleconferences: all of the same features as Reservationless Teleconferences but the passcodes are only valid for one specific Teleconference. Reservationless.
Teleconferences: your passcodes are valid 7/24 enabling you to conduct a Teleconference whenever you wish without coordinating the conference with us ahead of time.

Operator Assistance
Pressing *0 during your teleconference connects you with one of our helpful Operators.
Participants having trouble entering their pass codes are greeted by a live Operator who will then assist their conference entry
Online Moderator Control Panel
During a conference, Moderators can use our online Moderator Control Panel to see who is on their call, record the call, mute all lines, mute specific lines, disconnect individual or all lines, see which Participants have queued up to ask a question, control what lines are answered during a Q&A session, dial out to connect additional participants, lock the conference to additional participants, enter an alpha numeric project code or request Operator assistance.
Touch tone Moderator and Participant controls
Moderators have access to a number of touch tone commands that enable them to better control the teleconference experience. Moderators may use their touch tone phone during the conference to dial out to connect another Participant, Subconference with other participants, start or stop recording the teleconference, enter a numeric Project Code to be associated with the reporting of the Teleconference, mute their individual line, mute all of the participants lines, hear the total number of attending participants, hear a roll call of the names of all attendees, lock the conference to additional participants or request Operator Assistance
Participants have access to a number of touch tone commands that enable them to better control the teleconference experience. Participants may use their touch tone phone during the conference to mute their individual line, “Raise their Hand” (indicate that they wish to ask a question) and request Operator Assistance.
Local, National and International Toll Free access
Offering a Toll Free Number (1-800 service) allows Participants to join your conference at no cost to them. We provide low cost Toll Service from most places in the world. To make your life easier, we offer Toll Free calling from New Zealand for the same low, low cost as the rest of Australia!
Any number of Participants may join in
Unlike other Service Providers, Redback does not restrict the number of people you can have on your call. It is our responsibility to ensure that we have enough lines to accommodate your needs.
Live entry or wait for the Moderator to join
Our default setting is to have all Participants listen to music on hold until the Moderator joins the call. Once the Moderator joins, all Participants are automatically converted to 2 way speech. Moderators may choose to allow their Participants to begin the meeting without them being present.
Moderator & Participant Entry Codes
Each Moderator receives an 6 digit Moderator passcode & an 8 digit participant passcode. You may go online 7/24 to customise your passcode whenever you wish.
Dial out to connect additional participants
During a teleconference, moderators may dial out to bring in additional Participants.
Conference Recording
Moderators may launch the Recording feature any time they wish by either using their touch tone phone or by clicking the record Button on their online Moderator Conference Control Panel. Within minutes of the end of the conference your recording will be available online and also via a touch tone phone.
Mute & Unmute lines
Moderators may mute the lines of all Participants or their own individual line at anytime during the teleconference by either a simple touch tone command or through their online Moderator Command Panel. Moderators may mute a selected group of Participants through the Command Panel. You may also choose to have all Participants enter the teleconference in listen only mode.
Participants may mute their individual line at any time by using a simple touch tone command.
Automated Participant Count
At any time during the teleconference, a Moderator may hear an automated Participant count by simply entering a touch tone command or by using their online Moderator Command Panel.
Entry/Exit Tones
Distinct tones play into the conference to announce a Participant’s entry or exit.
Automated Roll Call
At any time during the teleconference, a Moderator may hear an automated Roll Call (automated play back of a recording of each Participant’s name) by simply entering a touch tone command or by using their online Moderator Command Panel.
Recorded Name Announce
Instead of or in addition to Entry and Exit tones, a Moderator may choose to have each Participant’s name played into the conference to announce their entry or exit.
Question & Answer Mode
A Moderator may choose to place the entire conference into Q&A mode. In this case, Participants are in Listen Only mode. If they wish to ask a question, they would enter a touch tone command & end enter a queue for those persons who have registered to ask a question. Using their online Moderator Control Panel, the Moderator then simply selects the person they wish to take the question from. That person’s line automatically converts to Speech mode. Once their question has been answered, their line goes back into Listen Only mode and the Moderator takes the next question in the queue.
Touch Tone Audience Polling
By associating a question to a touch tone command, Moderators can measure the responses of their audience.
Integrated with Microsoft Outlook
Moderators can use Microsoft Outlook to generate invitations to attend their Teleconference. The invitation automatically contains the Moderator’s dedicated dial in numbers and Participant passcode.
Sub Conferencing
Using either touch tone commands or the online Moderator Command Panel, you can enter into a private conversation with a select group of your teleconference Participants. Your group is taken out of the main conference where you meet in private. You and your group are free to rejoin the main conference whenever you wish.
Secure Conference Locking Security
Using either touch tone commands or the online Moderator Command Panel, the Moderator may lock the Teleconference at anytime. This ensures that no one else can join in to the conference.
Security PIN Codes
For an additional level of security, you can create a PIN code to be associated with your usual Participant passcode.
Participant list available online immediately after the end of the conference
Once a call has ended, Moderators can go to their online reporting page to see the teleconference Participant list. While the data is available immediately after the call, it will be unrated as our calls are rated once per day and this is done during off peak hours.
Assign Alpha and/or numeric Project codes to individual conferences
Moderators have the ability to associate an alpha and/or numeric project code to any of their calls. We can then track and report all expenses related to those Project Codes.
Customisation Available
Moderators can customise how the conference works online and in real-time. They can change everything from Passcodes to entry tones. Redback can customise the look and feel of the Conferencing Bridge to reflect your corporate brand

Each new user at Redback will receive a permanent hard plastic wallet card. The card contains all your personal conferencing access details enabling you to initiate a conference any time at your convenience. To enhance your control, we also include the most common Touch-Tone Commands for your reference.
